[Closed] Spline Modeling Bad for Games? Or Script to Clear MaterialID?

I have spline modeled maybe I’ve done it wrong but in the end I’m getting a object with more than 1 material Id even if I assign the same material ID to the spline as to the converted editable poly / mesh.

Process:
Create the Spline > Enable in Viewport > Use Viewport Settings > Enable Mapping Cord. > Set Material ID in Surface Properties when in subobject level > Convert to Editable Poly

Am I spline modeling wrong or if there is a way to clear spine material id will it even fix it?

Anyways the problem is the game engine will not support it no matter what I do so far. I thought it was from a UV plugin I’m using but its not, just tried redoing it all without using it still a fail. Always getting material error when I try to import to the game engine. Things not modeled via splines work fine.

Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a snapshot of it?

yep, still same result i dont think it’s mat id its either material or a leftover object.
