[Closed] Simpler method of skinning?

try it! if you pass multiple bones onto one skin modifier it will blend between the bones. With only one bone, it weights all verts to 1, which is technically a rigid joint and will move no differently than if you had linked it!

That was going to be my question too. (I also thought it was because we didn’t see all the code, but if you’re skinning each cylinder to a single bone, link ’em up.)

Cheers guys – haven’t tried it yet (busy weekend) but I have some other linking bits in the code and know they go much faster – the code’ll execute before I’ve even pulled my finger off the mouse button: perfect!!
