Simple question (hopefully), how would you get the number of selected components when the user is in an Edit Poly modifier?

I don’t think there’s any really foolproof way of getting that confirmation, because in “component mode” you can have both poly and component selections. Other then that look for explode script on script spot, and modify it for your use. Hope it gets you in the right direction.
