So I have down loaded and unpacked the local version of the Max 2013 help and the search and index do not function. Doesn’t any one see the same problem or managed to get it working?
Same with 2012 as well.

Yes I am but it works in the online version. It is only broken in the local version.
could you just simply post/give a link to CHM files?
no sorry, this would’nt be really legal. I know that others wanted to do the same but could’nt do so because the were not alowed to distribute it …
