Hi,
I’d like to have the tools “move, rotate and scale” without the “embedded” select function.
With my limited MaxScript knowledge, I thought I’d just always lock the selection when going into any of the transformation tools, and unlock it when activating the select mode.
As far as I can see in the MaxScript reference, I can only script the Selection Lock Toggle with “max spacebar”. But that would break the lock if I re-activate any one of the transformation tools, i.e. when I switch from move to rotate.
I also thought about checking if the lock is currently active, but haven’t find a way to do so.
Maybe you guys can help? A completely different approach is welcome, too, I just want to seperate select from transform.
