[Closed] Resource_Collector utility, is it a script?

This started in the max parent forum and should of probably been posted here
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?p=6461023#post6461023

What I’m trying to do:
Create a button that exports a scenes objects (done) but at the same time I want to copy all the textures in the scene to the exported path. The Resource Collector Utility does practically everything I need so I was hoping to hijack it and incorporate it into my script.
Only problem is, I cant find it and I’m not sure it exists as a script.

So far all I can find is how to open the panel.
utilitypanel.openutility Resource_Collector

There’s nothing in the maxscript docs about a Resource_Collector

Does anyone know if this utility exists as a script? or should I start writing a dupe of it from scratch

Thanks in advance.

you can collect all bitmap files used in a scene with enumerateFiles (see MXS Help – Bitmap Files) and copy them anywhere.

The samples disc that comes with the past few releases of Max/Design comes with a copy assets script in the script section. This is for use with the Asset Tracker, but could probably be modified to work however you want it to.
