How can this be done via maxscript?
I’ve read about hardwareLockID but that seems like something that is used to un-encrypt an encrypted script.

Don’t use “HardwareLockID” at all, it is abandonded/deprecated and will be removed sooner or later AFAIK

So, is it correct that maxscript alone can’t do this?

Ok well I figured out how to do this but my question is now:
Is it possible for me to print my encrypted file as plain text since I have my “key for reading”, or at least view it as plain text, or can i only compare things to its content?
