[Closed] Render to texture & channel

I need to build a script which process a RTT on all objects of a scene, and create a bmp file that will be remap on the original object.
I found a script on a forum :

why should we bake only the textures on the channel 2 ? I need to export the texture on channel 1, because of the application (my 3D engine is suited only for object with one texture and one channel.)
any idea ?

Why do you say we can’t bake textures on the channel 2 ?
It is an option in the RTT. You could change it with .bakeChannel (?)
