[Closed] Relax topology?

Hi, I am working on a triangulated surface, which i have created by having an original surface with rectangulated topology; and i made a new triangulated model with the freeform tool next to the graphite modeling tools. (drawing a rude topology, and dragging the vertices along the rectangulated surface, and subdividing the polygons to gain more triangles).

Now i have a rude model of the triangulated model. but the edges are not so nice, not collinear to each other in every spot. I can only drag them along the surface to make them nicer, but this is really slow and not very effective. Is there a way to somehow “relax” the points? or calculate some average coordinates for them, without loosing the geometry of the surface ? (with the relax tool the vertices go off the surface). Is there a way to “relax the topology” only, and keep the geometry of the surface?

thanks,
sassom
