[Closed] Maya to Max Rig?

Hello all, I’ve got a rig in Maya and I’m just wondering if anybody could tell the basic commands for rigging in Max…(xform???)… Basically what I want is to get all the position value and rotation value of my rig then load it in Max (Character Rig) if anybody could give me any advice that would be great…thanks

Try using Kaydara’s FBX format first.
It was developed to export data from Maya,Max,XSI,Lightwave etc. to FilmBox and back, so it is a possible data conversion path for model and animation data between the above mentioned applications.
You can get the latest plugin for Maya from http://www.kaydara.com/downloads/other/index.php
Max already ships with FBX I/O.

XFrom in max is not directly related to rigging. It is a procedural transformation modifier to be used on the modifier stack to perform translation/rotation/scaling at a certain point of the data flow.
