How many percent of max users would benefit from parser?
Regardless of that what the intention of the program was, the “virus” or “malware” causes issues. Thn, max dev should provide something for average users even tho it is not perfect.
If you think this is not a problem, well… what can I say? May others do think it is problem.
I don’t believe anti-virus can protect me 100%. But, that what I can try at least.
Again if you have suggestion, send to dev. Some might possible. Some might be not.

When I said that sometimes the MAX users themselves are to blame for the “garbage” that gets sent and distributed along with the MAX files, I also meant the dumb trust in the charlatans from the link above.
Some more nastiness out there…
