You can’t turn off Trim or Extend mode.
Turning those modes on always means that you had finished drawing polyspline and have to edit it with standart editable spline tools.
To continue drawing polyspline just press macroscript button again without deselecting your current spline.
That makes sense and isnt too restricting.I still think its a great script. Do you have any further features planned? What I think would really be icing on the cake would be some kind of ‘Inferencing’. Something similiar to the type used in PowerNurbs powersketch. I also believe theres inferencing in Sketchup.
First of all I shall realise the adjustments in the arc feature (end point, radius, etc) and also some improvements to the polar snap mode.
Dunno about Sketchup and PowerNurbs powersketch.

I wish I had this last week when I was doing a whole load of animation of objects along trajectories – it would have been REALLY useful.
Are there any plans to make this work in all 3 dimensions? As I said, it would be amazing to be able to create a trajectory that could effectively go from any point to any point with lovely smooth arcs, in an interactive way.
Perhaps you could grab the last (or any!) point created with the mouse and move it with an axis icon? Maybe building up an array of helper points that you can adjust interactively, then when you’re finished the spline would be created?

Your idea have not large application, i think. Anyway, rotating the arc around tangent perhaps will be solution of this.

Well, I wouldn’t be so sure about that! I animate things along paths more than I would think. This week for the Disney Channel, and a few months ago for Jetix (Fox Kids).
But I understand your position! I may look into scripting it myself.
