[Closed] Looking for a fast way to clear the viewport

I’m trying to extend some of the functions in my Viewrender script. As you guys problably know, if you’re rendering and you change to the mode where you only render selected objects, max will render the selected objects on top of your last rendering. Is there a fast , efficient way in maxscript to clear the viewport before it renders the new image?

Define “viewport”.
(I admit I have not tried your script).

If you mean the VFB and you are using your own bitmap to show in a MAXScript VFB, obviously you could copy an empty image into it.
If you mean the MAX viewports, please explain…

Thanks Bobo,

Copying an empty vfb to the current one was exactly what I realised I could do, about 10 seconds after posting this request.
