[Closed] Layermanager not overwriting object settings?

In the layer manager the hide button on the layer will hide all the objects on that layer.
However Ive found with other options such as wirecolor it doesnt use the layers settings.
Also the render option is not used on the layer settings.

Is there a way to get max to use these settings instead of each objects settings?

Don’t have max in front of me, but if you toggle the objects to “by layer” (rather than “by object”) in the object properties for both display options and render options, this should do what you’re asking.
