[Closed] Isolate Selection is not perfect

For sure some people noticed that the Isolate Selection script available since max3 or 4 (don’t remember) has been upgraded with max5 and 6 and is now working almost perfectly.
The “almost” is the key. In fact the Xrefs scenes (and maybe Xrefs objects) are not well handle (as it is noticed in the script). The problem is (at last for me, but i’m sure over people think the same) that in the presence of xrefs in your scene, you can’t use the isolation anymore for it looses its interest.
I explain:
Imagine you wan to isolate an object and you have a bunch of Xrefs trees and a lot of non xrefs geometries in your scene. When you isolate your object, no problem, it’s isolated, BUT when you exit isolation mode, only the xrefs are shown, no matters if they were set to invisible or worst disabled in the xrefs manager.

I’ve tried to resolve this, but I must admite that my few skills in scripting are not enough to fix this problem. So if a “Grandmaster” has a little time to look at this it would wonderful for a lot of people (including me ). The script is in the macroscript directory (name isolsel.mcr I think).

I told this before!

That doesn’t help very much…
Could you be more specific ?
