[Closed] Installing Max 2008 SDK using VS2008 (not VS2005)?

Hi guys,

I have recently upgraded my development environment to VS2008 and the Windows Platform SDK 6.1 (for Vista SP1 / Windows Server 2008).

I remember when I originally installed the Max 2008 SDK (back when I was using VS2005) there was some kind of “compiler update / hotfix for VS2005” installed by the Max SDK installer as part of the install process.

Will this mess up my VS2008 / Windows SDK install, or is the Max 2008 SDK installer intelligent enough to know that the compiler update is not needed.
