[Closed] How to find out about the scripted plug-in error?
I have a max file, a lot of warning message dialogs pop up each time the file is opened. All the boxes repeat the same message that there’s a scripted plugin error, the problem is really getting more and more annoying, each time I had to press over times enter key to kill all the dialogs… Is there any way to find out what or which script caused the problem? Thanks a lot in advance.
the error dialog itself should have some reference to the script that caused the error… otherwise, try checking the MaxScript Listener… it may hold additional information.
The error says
Type error: Call needs function or class, got:undefined.
Now I am pretty sure that it’s caused by certain plugin used by previous user of the max file, but the plugin is not existing in my Max. Is there any way to clean the mess? It seems it begins to affect the stability of 3ds max…
Do you get any errors when you load the file that there is a missing plugin? And if so which is it?
