[Closed] How to detach a segment of an Editable spline without dialog?

I need to find a way to detach selected spline segments, but I want the user to not interact with anything, the script will mark if will be a copy of the segment or not and the name of the shape. Is this possible?

Other thing I would like to know is if there is any way know the segment a knot belongs or what knots belongs to a selected segment?
