[Closed] Hide certain objects in Camera view only

Hi all!

I really don’t know if something like this exists, and if it does, I’m having some trouble in finding the right keywords to discover the script…

I think Maya does this out of the box from some screenshots I’ve seen I basically what I’d like is to be able to have a Camera view where Control Objects (splines) or lights or whatever would be hidden but visible in the rest of the view. That way I can have a ‘clean’ camera view with just my character and no extra clutter. Previews are no problem because we can exclude them there, but it’d be cool to be able to do this while working too.

So, any ideas?

Cheers!

Visibility in Max is global to all 4 viewports, you cannot hide an object per viewport.
Sorry, it is a system design limitation. I don’t think it is scriptable either.
(And try not to start with “Maya has…” or “Maya does” in a Max forum, you might get less responses ;))

Right, I thought so… Sorry about the ‘Maya has…’, I was just trying to help get my point through, not to start comparing apps.

Cheers
