Good stuff, there used to be one just like this way back in Max 2 and 3. I thought about doing it again just about a week ago. So where are you storing all the settings? XML file?

right now all i’m doing is a HashTable storing the name of the button(max command ex. extrude) and the corresponding command macro, its fairly early to store these in a separate file
it runs better than the video , but i still notice the screen flicker
BTW , this is not a maxscript , its 99% C#
my main problem is how to arrange this large number of controls in a convenient way .

Very impressive work you did here.
When I use maya I rarely use that similar function as I am used to 3ds max Editpoly
but at least it is better than the ribbon.
