[Closed] Flipping normals outside subobjectlevel?

Hello, I’m wondering: Is there no way to flip the normal of a face in an editable poly when you are not in face subobjectlevel, and without adding a Normal modifier?

As far as I can tell, all 3 methods for flipping normals in Editable Poly expect you to be in face sub-object level. I might be missing something though…

Hi Bobo, the thing is I have a script that is creating polygons in vertex subobjectlevel (or subobjectlevel 0), so I need the function to work whatever I’m doing otherwise in the script. I have solved it temporarely by rebuilding the face with the normal flipped, but it seems strange to me if there is no support for such a simple thing, when there is support for so many other polyop things independant of subobjectlevel.
