[Closed] ExposeTM bug Max 2013?
I’m having an issue with the ExposeTM in Max 2013. In the simple scene below the twist bone works fine if the ExposeTM node is set to the hand (Bone002).
However, there is an illegal self reference if the ExposeTM set to the point object (Point001). It allows you to set the object, but if you try to rotate it gives an error. The bone and the point have the same parent and the same controllers.

I have several work arounds for this issue, but I’ve already animated tons of files in Max 2011 with a similar setup and now it’s borked. The animations still open and play fine, but the error happens when you try to manipulate the objects.
After lots of digging it seems it has to do with the BoneEnable property.
