[Closed] Dynamic Time range for max 7?

Hi…a while ago for max 4 there was a script that allowed you to quickly “zoom in and out” ofthe time scrubber dynamically changing the the active time range

I’m wondering if anyone knows ifthere is anything similar for max7?

basically I want to be able to quickly zoom in on the timeline to isolate keys in the main UI ( not in trackviews) and dthen zoom back out without going into track views

thanks for taking the time to read this any help greatly appreciated

If I understand you correctly, you don’t need a script for this.

ALT+CTRL+LMB = zoom in and out when the mouse is over the timebar
ALT+CTRL+MMB = pan alonf the timebar (when blahblahblah)
ALT+CTRL+RMB = change time range

If you have a UK keyboard like me, you can use the ALTGR+LMB / MMB

Cheese,

Josh.

Thanks …I’d looke dthrough the documentation…never found that!

that’s exactly what i needed and never knew about…though I suspected that by now they ought to have added it.

Thank you !

hehehe

first i had made my own tool for this purpose and then discovered built-in solution.
