[Closed] DisableAccelerators using the SDK

Hello all, I’m trying to register my own accelerators using the max SDK and it seems I’m suppose to call DisableAccelerators() first so that I can override 3ds Max’s own accelerators. After I call DisableAccelerators() everything seems to work ok and I have control over the keyboard input, but it seems as soon as you click on a viewport in Max, Max automatically enables accelerators again, does anyone know a way around this?
I’ve tried clicking on different icons and menus and even rollouts, they all seem fine and do not automatically enable accelerators again, only clicking on a viewport does.
By the way, this is using Max 2011.
