Can anyone point me in the right direction. I was thinking that it would be nice for some prerender settings to reside in the render scene dialog but still haven’t found any reference on how to modify it. For example it would be nice to add my custom tab to render scene dialog where those settings can be grouped.

There is no maxscript interface to modify any part of the render scene dialog.
AFAIK, Your only option is win32 api functions, and even then, you are going to have a very hard time.

What lo said. What you could do is to “dock” your floater to the render scene dialog, not so pretty but hey

Thank you for your advice, for now its still not worth to dig thru win api… i will have to use some other workflow construct.
