Hi’
I’m looking for a method to control the Thumbnail (Preview) of a maxfile.
More specific:
I have a routine, which take a maxfile and select some objects from it and then save them in a new maxfile.
My problem is that the new file get the same Thumbnail as the old one, and I need it to show the selection, I have saved.

Have you tried batch opening and resaving the new files? that should reset the thumbnail to reflect what the contents are.

I think it just snapshots the screen when you save, so you’d have to zoom extents/hide unselected or something.
