[Closed] Complete clean of script

after a while of testing script and macro i have a bunch of tool that i dont use anymore in my “customize/Preference”
so i was wondering any special ways of cleaning them? more tha just deleting it from my /script folder? no un-evalute or something like this? i dunno why but i always find trace of script afterward.
Or maybe its because they arent place in the right spot? i dunno i just wonder why i have the feeling doing something wrong .

Thanks

Whenever you evaluate a MacroScript or drag&drop code on a toolbar, an independent copy of the source code is saved as an .MCR file in the UI/Macroscripts folder. It will have a name consisting of the Category and the MacroScript definition’s name. To completely remove the traces, don’t delete anything from /Scripts (nothing is being evaluated automatically from there except for the /Startup folder), but remove the .MCRs from the Ui/Macroscripts.
Note that in Max 9, there is a new location for USER-defined Macroscripts as opposed to .MCRs shipping with Max. This makes it easier to see what you have installed on top of the default installation and it also makes it possible to copy the whole folder to another machine together with a CUI file and get the whole UI working there without rebuilding… But that’s another story…

clean and simple answer as always.
