Hi,
Is there any Possibility in 3ds max to (by script) change the color of the small keyframe representation rectangles in the timeline?
main menu > customize > colors (tab) > elements (dropdown) > trackbar > keys: position > change color at will.
Now I’m not too sure this is exposed to maxscript, as a work around you could export the color preferences and load the colors with maxscript on different machines.

It works like you said in gerenal.
The Problem now is: I got 2 Custom attributes in an AttribHolderModifier. I want to display keys of the first spinner in another Color than keys of the second spinner. Sadly I can only set key Colors for “unkown”, apparently these keys fall under the category of unkown. It is critical to have two different colors in the trackbar for those values.
This is not going to happen. All controllers not of a PRS type will be shown as a single color.
No way around (unless you want to write your own trackbar, probably using the sdk).
