Hello All,
Does anyone know how to control the clipping plane in a perspective view via maxscript? I have tried looking in the help docs and haven’t found anything. I did showproperties on viewport and I found the viewport.getclipscale and setclipscale functions but they do not seem to do what I want, and they are not documented!
I work at a 1 unit = 1 meter scale, and the default clipping plane is to near. I want to have a start up maxscript set it automatically for me. I know I can adjust it and it will save out with the maxfile, but I prefer to just have it set for me. I’m going to be working with numerous files at this scale. Right now I just have a script that adjusts the FOV but it flattens the image.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
