[Closed] All vertexes snapping to floor
Hi everyone,
I’m a fairly experienced Maya user, and I’m trying to get used to switching over to Max, but I’m running into issues. It seems that when I try to model an object brought in from zBrush, any change I make to any polygon has it’s y-value snapped to 0, at least when working freehand. I was hoping to use the freeform polygon tools to build assets on top of my current model, but when I try to build anything on the model it just ignores where I clicked on the model and adds the vertex to the floor behind the model.
Is it clear what issue I’m having? How would I go about fixing it?

This might be stupid question but do you have snapping on ? from the top of my head is the only thing i can thing of.
I’ve turned off snapping. I even right clicked it and turned off all of the sub-options.
EDIT: I believe I turned everything off, at least. The magnet icons are all off.
