[Closed] Align vertex all together

In max, I would love it if you selected any number of vertices, and when changing their x, y, or z coordinate to a specific number, they would all go to that x,y,z location, instead of just shifting all at once. Is there a script that will allow me to do that?

It has always been a pet peeve of mine and want to know if others have the same problem.
