i have many questions about maxscript:
1-how i can set scene undo levels
2-number of autobackup
3-when i use directx , visibility not show correctly
4-how i can make an simple ui to change hotkeys?(how i can decode keyboard.kbd)
5-how i can completely save preferences so i can use it in other computer and other users

- lookup “autosave” in the mxs help
- lookup “thehold” in the mxs help
- What’s the question exactly
- Not simple at all, maybe take apart the outliner script from Pier Janssen, he’s has found a hack for it, no functions in mxs allow this directly
- Depends on what exactly you want to store, you can store ui settings via customize (.cui), but if you do custom things, you’re on your own, maybe best then is to save the whole user settings dir and overwrite, but backup first. Again no straightforward way.

6_ how i can set Display driver to OpenGL and access its setting
7_ how i can access Safeframe settings

8- how i can hide main menu for always?
