We’ve been sent a 3dxml file but we’re currently unable to open it, I found this tool which appears to be the only thing out there.

But it doesn’t work on my file.
Anyone have any other solutions/suggestions?

Have you asked about it on that forum where you got it? If it is XML then it is possible to write your own reader, not a lot of help I know.

did you post about it? Koichi is usually really fast with replys
and yea there’s not much else out there, the file format is from Dassault, so you may be able to take a look into it with some of their solids packages, or else i think they have a deal going with Deep Exploration also
