Paul, you have very nice collections!

I assume he’s been grounded ever since?

Are you serious? Give that kid a beer! That is probably the most annoying animated character ever.

Hey Pete, note that the only version that I don’t appear to have in my collection is Max 1. Don’t know what happened to that one. There are several that I have two of as ADSK was sending me double at one point for some reason.

The good old days, it was a simpler time. You knew who the enemy was and you could charge an arm and a leg for a days work and you were still under cutting the Maya users;)

Hey Paul, hope you’re well. Ha Ha, nice one. You had to became a problem solver back then as there wasn’t anything like the information around there is now.

You’ve kept a better haul than me. We had a big studio clearout years ago and we lost most of our manuals and install discs there. I am posting the stuff form the discs that I saved. Since I used to carry both max r2 manuals around in my bag for about a year, I was glad to get rid of them. Did you fancy grabbing a couple of max r2 install screens for me if you have time? It would be great to document all this stuff and old releases for prosperity.

And let’s just put the whole dancing baby thing to bed. It was featured in Ally McBeal, there’s no reason any of us should have seen it.

Now, the only nostalgia issue outstanding is the Frank Delise tattoo on my back. That was a bad idea.

The tattoo comment has me splitting a gut.

I’ll see if I can try an install and see if it works.

Swweeeet! Cheers Paul. I had to use quite an old computer (XP install) in order to run the setup on R1. Compatibility mode didn’t work on any 64bit OS I tried it on.

I installed it but there wasn’t much of a screen to capture so I figured I would just grab the start up screen. Problem is it would not run on an XP machine so I have removed it.

thanks for trying, paul. ill post my r3 install when i get a mo. i will look through the world creating toolkit disc and see if i can find any cool old renders.

i did convert the old kinetix boolean animation on my blog for any nostalgia freaks!
