[Closed] .NET API confusion

[ul]
[li]Ephere created Max.NET, a wrapper for the SDK. With this you could create any type of plugin, just like in c++
[/li][li]Autodesk made an agreement with Ephere as of 2012 SAP to include the .NET wrapper
[/li][li]Autodesk SDK documentation up to and including the current release mention nothing about writing plugins with .NET, and seem to stick to the idea of it being a UI tool
[/li][/ul]

Between the first and last points, what happened?

There is actually a small documentation in max 2013 SDK about using NET to create plugins.

in http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/15/ENU/3ds-Max-SDK-Programmer-Guide/

3ds Max SDK Programmer’s Guide>Writing Plug-ins>Writing .NET Plug-ins

and also here http://download.autodesk.com/global/docs/3dsmaxsdk2012/en_us/index.html?url=files/GUID-ED89ECC5-5E40-43AD-932A-CC377C5BFF5-32.htm,topicNumber=d28e5196

Good luck to you.
