[Closed] [MaxScript] Beginner – Simple load and assign textures to a model
Hello everybody!
I’m new in Maxscripting world and I am on a project where I have to load and assign textures (like diffuse map/bump map) on a 3D model.
I have made few searchs on the Internet but it looks like there is not real answers for simple things like this (I have probably took a look the wrong way) so I tried to take a look at Git’s projects but nothing worked for me.
I want to know if someone can give me a simple code that load DDS files and assign to a character.
I would appreciate a lot any help!

Is it really matter?
I mean I actually use default settings in 3DS Max (2016).
Its matter… Coz different renderer had different mat that they support as default, put it vray, people that use vray mostly use vraymtl, when you re using scanline, you are using standard mtl… Std mtl and vray mtl had little different in their properties and named properties, but its still different when you want to address to change their properties.
