Could you give me corresponding MAX SDK Change Notification IDs?

my guess is
#preSystemShutdown >> NOTIFY_SYSTEM_SHUTDOWN
#postSystemShutdown >> NOTIFY_SYSTEM_SHUTDOWN2

could anyone explain better than the MAX SDK Help what the NOTIFY_PLUGINS_PRE_SHUTDOWN is used for?

have a look at singlerefmaker in ref.h, and it’s use in editablemesh & stdmat may shed a bit more light on it.
